The PRimus Award winner which means "first among equals" was cited among a field of applications of public relations parishioners for excellence in strategies, tactics and tools. The entry was in the tactics - special events category and covered planning and execution for an event aimed at bringing out 100 real estate agents to tour a new home community. Instead of 100 attendees, more than 250 guests showed up. And in the month following the event, 57 new homes were sold - a clearly quantifiable bottom-line benefit to the client. From the judges point of view, the project was described as "a very well researched, designed and implemented project." The judges reflected that sentiment in scoring, giving the campaign an average score of 98.6 out of 100. The theme "Go
Someplace Cool" was created for Monterey Homes' Los Arroyos community.
