| Arizona
has launched a powerful new statewide ad campaign to educate the public
about sexual assault. The tv, radio and print efforts, created by Michael
Bolchalk Marketing in conjunction with the Southern Arizona Center Against
Sexual Assault and the Rape and Incest National Network (RAINN), encourage victims to call RAINN's hotline
number. The campaign has already
proven its worth, leading to a near tripling of hotline calls in Arizona.
All callers are immediately connected to their local rape treatment center via RAINN's groundbreaking decentralized routing system. All centers in Arizona are members of RAINN's national hotline network. The campaign, the first-ever in Arizona, is being funded by a grant from the office of Attorney General Janet Napolitano. To execute the campaign, Napolitano selected the award-winning firm Michael Bolchalk Marketing. Samples of the rape campaign are posted at www.adwiz.com. Arizona joins West Virginia, Kentucky, Colorado, Utah and other states that have partnered with RAINN for statewide education campaigns. > Visit the AZ Sexual Assault web site |
