Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Advertising Federation has won a national Club Achievement Award from the American Advertising Federation. The Tucson chapter received a third place award for its Public Service program with
United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. “Without the personal and professional commitments of our media partners, we could not have made it happen,” said Bolchalk whose firm helped initiate the program. The local public service project is the Tucson Advertising Federation’s annual fund raising effort, allowing the organization to invest annually in an endowment fund for student scholarships. The scholarships are awarded to advertising/marketing students from Student Ad Clubs at University of Arizona and Art Center Design College. The AAF winning Ad Clubs will be honored at its National 2003 Conference in Los Angeles at the Salute to the AAF Club Achiever’s Dinner on June 5, 2003. Further information on the awards and the conference is available at www.aaf.org. The Tucson Advertising Federation is an organization for professionals in every aspect of advertising including media and ad agency executives, graphic designers, commercial photographers and suppliers. The local chapter is a part of the American Advertising Federation, the largest ad industry organization whose mission is to advance the advertising industry, recognize the best in advertising, and inform and educate advertising professionals. |
